Are FSR hosts banned from saying ESPN?

I'm just wondering if there is a ban on FSR hosts for even uttering the letters "ESPN." It seems like every time a lot of their hosts refer to the network, they always say something like "The 4-letter network." Even Tom Looney has called it the "Entertainment Sports and Programming Network" in his updates when crediting certain audio bites. I'm thinking they are either poking fun at it or there really is a ban on talking about other networks.

Dan Patrick might have started it, not wanting to say their brand name after they downsized him. And it's kind of caught on. Like "passion bucket" should. :D

they're not banned from saying ESPN, but they do probably get told to limit the times they say it because so much comes from ESPN and it is their chief competition on the radio side.

Looney is correct... ESPN's full name IS the "Entertainment Sports and Programming Network." Has been since 1979.
