Are More Changes Coming at KDWN in April?

Alan Stock officially moves to mornings. They are adding a local sports show at 10AM. I only caught the end of it but I thought I heard Ken Thomson say that Sports X radio is leaving KDWN (will still be on Sports Byline network) What will be the replacement at 7PM? More brokered programming?

Looks like kdwn should have kept the old rinky dink format, infomercials and third rate old folks talk...it paid the bills.

Some of the News coverage worked. The Board OP/talk show host would watch the TV and report on what was happening. Then people would call in, like cops (anonymously) and as well as other members of the public and report on what was going down. (e.g. a "jumper" on a roof of a casino.)

After all the time and money from Beasley, is their profit margin better? Ratings? slightly better?

When Beasley bought KDWN and beefed up their news and traffic depts. and promoted the hell out of it on TV I thought they would kick ass. I was wrong. As Bob Agnew(formerly of KXNT) once said to me..."this is not San Francisco".

Jerry Gordon Jack B. Show Salem radio network and National V.O. guy.
