Amazingly, I got all the stations I wanted first time I tried, on the first antenna. I knew I wasn't going to get other stations because I had the antenna turned the wrong way, but it's amazing I positioned it perfectly. Cable takes care of the remaining stations.
Still, I started having problems with one station soon after that and it hasn't been perfect since. I blame the station. Moving the converter box when I changed TVs (the antenna hasn't moved) might have been a factor in other problems since. And the wire may have come loose from the converter box too.
Now unlike my first antenna, which was also stronger (45 dB versus 25), Wall-E was not in an ideal place and positioning it was a nightmare. Every time something goes wrong with it, it takes me days to get it back where it should be. I believe what happened the last time is that I bumped the wire and maybe pulled the connection loose from the converter box.
