Are the 70's about to be gone from Lite Rock 105?

I didn't see the TV spot as I was walking around the house while others were watching, but I heard their latest & it refers to "A fresh mix of the 80's, 90's, & today". The station does still play 70's music, but the 60's they started to get into about 5 years ago seem to be gone. Tanya probably plays more 70's during the lunch block, but I wonder if that decade is going to be phased out. Lite does fiddle with the music every few years so this may be their next step. Regardless, with the music on B101 & Coast supposedly not being programmed locally anyway those 2 stations aren't about to respond to any music changes on Lite anyway.

They could play just some well-tested 70s stuff and it'll be a matter of what they say vs what they really play. I've actually heard Tanya play Come Sail Away by Styx which is a stretch for them even if it is a request block. Now if they could just find a way to get rid of the word LITE but I don't think that could ever happen as they've used it for so long. It just has this "soft" meaning but listeners probably don't over-analyze. Come to think of it, if they could get rid of the word ROCK too and just call themselves 105FM and not worry about future music changes clashing with the moniker.

The lunchtime request hour is all seventies so maybe they will gradually just relegate pre 1980 music to that block.
