Miami/Fort Lauderdale Are the cracks in LMN starting to show?

Some Spanish language papers are pointing out the Soros connection with the format change. They probably don't say the station was sports when it was owned by Univision.

This group directly competes with WAQI with their own station WSUA. It's easier to blame it on Soros and drag LMN rather than speak the truth on why WQBA failed to listeners of their station.

The only markets where they have multiple FM stations and, as a result, have a fighting chance to bring in listeners and advertisers. However, all three of those markets have their own challenges and that's probably why TelevisaUnivision was happy to include them in the sale.
None was a very profitable market, but required just as much if not more higher management attention as a larger market.

Actually, none of the reasons being guessed at are correct. WQBA ended its agreement for "programming supply" with TelevisaUnivision and decided to revert to its historical talk programming that dates back to when it was WMIE in the 60's.

LRN was failing in every market.

Then, with the probability that the FCC will relax station counts for each owner, it was apparent that LRN could be folded into Audacy. So anything that could save money immediately was done.
