Are There Any Non-Syndicated Talk Stations in The Top 50?

I ask this because everywhere I look there is some form of sydication on all the stations I have looked at. Compare this with the station I work for, in a city of 3 Mill people, we have nothing coming in from other cities. We do provide a couple of programs, but don't recieve any. The presenters, didn't want it either. They saw it as taking away from their main job, focusing on local issues.

I understand your question as are there any news-talk stations in the top 50 markets which are all local-live and carry no syndicated talk shows? I'm assuming network news is OK.I'll start and I'm sure other's will add to the list. Off the top of my head:WGN, Chicago.KGO, San Francisco.KIRO, Seattle.WCCO, Minneapolis-St. PaulWBAL, BaltimoreWLW, Cincinnati.New Jersey 101.5 (NOT New York, NOT Philadelphia)I am NOT including WOR, New York because even though all their shows are originated locally, some are meant for national distribution. Honorable mention to KTRH, Houston and KTAR, Phoenix which are all local-live in prime hours of 6 am to 7 pm weekdays. If you allow one syndicated talk show between 6am and 7pm, the list gets a LOT longer.

kgo has been number one in SF market for almost 25 years...there is too much synicrap on radio

???Yes? Which would mean they are live and local between 6am and 7pm weekdays - the only dayparts which really matter for audiences or for revenue.
