Are There No Other Stations to Talk About Except Pamal?!?!?

Seriously, I'm sick of hearing about WBPM...let's move on already. You all hate Pamal...You hate Turner...You hate WBPM...We got it. I almost rather read one of Disney's posts.

Well, Clarity, I heard some opinions expressed and gave some myself; but I didn't hear anyone say they hated anyone or anything....hate is a pretty strong word....

There's a lot of things going on in local radio right now. The Hudson Valley cheap channel cluster has been sold to goodradio; the folks over on Tucker drive are wondering about their futures and what is in store. On a brighter note it might mean more employment opportunities there. Cumulus is wallowing in mediocrity; wonder if the WOLF will climb out of the dumper for the spring book, which comes out soon. pamal does seem rock solid with the possible exception of 92.9, which will be in it's first book, should be interesting to see how that looks. And is somebody going to take the bull by the horns and bring us an oldies station??? That format is up for grabs and is there for the taking. Finally, slightly off topic but significant is the flip of CBS-FM from its Jack format to "oldies" or classic hits...history is being made here daily... ::)

We need all the input we can get here, so if anyone has any news, gossip or rumors, put 'em up...we need the activity!!! ;)

I knticed that on clarity2006 post that WBPM sucks this time! As I said in other posts that the station is still playing album cuts and lot of stuff that I don't like it anymore, and guess what, CBS-FM had a better music mix than WBPM's. What are they thinking?

I cannot listen to "Classic Hits 92.9" anymore! I might get a better station than country fans loved so much, I tuned to "The Wolf", that's a better station, Brandy Hunter, Captain Buzz Stevens and Beth Christy, great jocks than ever sounded now. Country music rules! ;D
