Are there traffic reports in your Texas market?

Those of you from Lubbock have heard me gripe before about the absence of traffic reports here. That lead me to thinking (as I sat in traffic today), which markets Texas have traffic reports on the radio, and which ones do not?
Are they all large markets?
Markets just with lots of highways comming through?
Or are they just markets that have traffic issues?

Ok, I'll start off, and everyone can add to the list:

Markets that I know have traffic:
Dallas
Houston
San Antonio
Amarillo.

Market that's that I know don't:
Lubbock

Oh, and one rule please, they have to be full reports on more than just one station, (It can not just be an occasional 3 second mention at the top of the news one station).

Ok, who else?
Yes? No? How big?

Traffic problems in ... Tyler? You've got to be kidding.

Must be a sales tool more than an infomational need.

Can you start a new thread for that, please?
Thanks.

Hey, don't knock it. When that traffic light at Broadway and the Loop holds too long, there can be as many as 10 cars that back up. Talk about a real SIGalert...........

Traffic problems in East Texas do happen. It's usually a huge wreck on IH 20, somewhere between Tyler and Longview, or more likely just really slow and very predictable traffic jam at one of the many TxDOT projects. It seems TxDOT takes forever to do projects like repaving US 259 through Kilgore. (It's been years.) Or completing the new bypass around Kilgore. And then, there is the Loop in Longview. It is always slow at the same times of day, at the same places.

The problem is that most local traffic problems are continuous, so they hardly can be called "news."

Actually, if you've driven in Tyler lately, you'd appreciate the reports. It took me the longest time to get used to it. One trip around Loop 323 and you'll be a believer, too.

They cover Tyler/Longview and listening areas.
