Are these the summer'09 numbers?

I don't see Arbitron making making a mistake on their websie and calling them 09 numbers when they're really 08. I also don't recall seeing some of these particular numbers before like PRO FM and LITE going through the roof, CTK declining like that, WPRO AM dropping like that, FUN 107 cracking a 2 share, and Coast doing the worst it ever has. If they are summer 09 numbers then thank you Matty and Ryan. I wonder who was most responsible for WPRO's drop?

I think this accurately reflects the market both before and after "Johnnygate" in a diary environment and once PPM flows next year, we will have a little better idea what actual ears hear and see a PRO AM maintain a 4-5.5, Lite and Pro-FM jockey for #1, SNE & HJJ continue to be lost in the mix and EEI-FM maintain some decent talk numbers. The big curve could be what BZ-FM shows in the Fall book down here

It's pretty clear that WSNE is hemorrhaging listeners to Lite Rock 105 and Pro-FM, which accounts for their numbers going through the roof. With Business 790 not even showing up in the ratings, I wonder how long they will stick with the business format before they switch over to something else again. I always thought they should have stuck with the Oldies off the bird - they could have gained an audience if they stuck with it long enough.

The other thing I noticed is that it appears that a number of diaries were SE Mass placed

Thus explaining Fun107's numbers although when there's heavy SE Mass placement Cat Country usually does well.

True Oldies will never air in a Citadel Providence station again after the tirade Scott Shannon went on when managemtn there told him they decided to try the business format.

Not that I know anything; but who says they will be there to make that decision...
