Are we still getting the other 5 Canadian stations

So, are U.S subscribers still going to get the other 5 Canadian channels after the first of the year? I havent heard much more about it lately.

Are we supposed to get them? I seem to recall hearing somewhere that the Canadian receivers had some extra hardware in them for the additional 5 channels. Perhaps they're on a different satellite?

As far as XM goes, they are on the same satellite, and the hardware differences are only so that they can differentiate if it's a US or Canadian receiver for programming purposes. I am nearly certain it's the same with Sirius, and there doesn't seem to be any reason not to include the Canadian channels as there is still fairly broad appeal. If they're using bandwidth, might as well open them up.
