Are You One Of The 24% ?

"... according to a consumer survey conducted in January by Arbitron and Edison Media Research, only 24% of respondents said they had "heard/read anything recently about HD radio," down slightly from 26% a year earlier...

U.S. HD radio sales totaled about 300,000 units in 2007, with about 1 million units expected to be sold this year, iBiquity says. But that's still only a tiny fraction of estimated annual radio sales of about 70 million..."

The same could have been said for Digital TV in, say, 1999. So? In case you haven't noticed, available products are getting so plentiful that millions of Americans will be taking home HD Radios (or devices that receive HD Radio), whether or not they set out to buy the technology. To quote the old Prego commercial "it's in there". If you still think HD is in only a few devices or models, perhaps you should check out the latest product listings at http://www.hdradio.com
