Area 33 to begin broadcasting live from Crobar Miami

Yeah, thats my luck, Sirius goes and adds something else (GOOD), after I done switched to XM again. Oh well, Xm Dance is better anyway, at least it is if you want more House, and more mixshows.

I thought Area was a trance channel? With the exception of WMC.. I havent seen a trance act in Crobar in an awful long time.. im a little confused on this one to be honest with you.

Area 33 is mostly trance, but perhaps the proper label might be "underground dance." It could be that they're trying to expand musically a little bit... more than anything else though, I'm guessing Sirius wanted to try a live dance show, and found Area 33 to be a better fit than the other remaining dance channels. The Beat is very "hits" oriented, and the show would be a really poor fit for Boombox or The Strobe.

ahh yea.. i forgot.. they got rid of the Remix channel.. ok.. makes sense.. i forgot they axed that channel.. which was why i was a little confused...
