  • KNXV-TV 15.x Phoenix (Scripps Broadcasting Holdings LLC) requested and has been granted a license to cover its construction permit to build auxiliary facilities. Technical specifications: Ch 15; TL 33° 20' 1" N, 112° 3' 47" W (South Mtn.); ERP 21 kW Max DA HP 0.75° EBT; HAAT 538 m / 1,764 ft.
  • KGRF-LD 29.x (21) Gila River Indian Co (Gila River Telecommunications Inc.) has further amended its request for license to cover its expired construction permit, providing additional documentation proving that the station came online at its requested facilities in April 2021, one month after the construction permit was granted, and has been operational since. The license request is under review. Programming Changes
  • KEJR-LD 40.x (32) Phoenix (KEJR-LD LLC) has added a barker channel on 40.5, promoting the debut of WEST (Western Entertainment Series Television) in late September.
Call Sign Changes
  • KMOH-TV 6.x (19) Kingman (KMOH-TV LLC) requested and has approved by the FCC to change its call sign to KMEE-TV, effective September 29. Weigel Broadcasting Co. received consent to use the new call sign from KGAY PSP, who is the primary holder of call sign KMEE and who also programs MeTV music in Palm Springs CA.
  • KEJR-LD 40.x (32) Phoenix (KEJR-LD LLC) requested and has approved by the FCC to change its call sign to KMEE-LD, effective September 29. Weigel Broadcasting Co. received consent to use the new call sign from KGAY PSP, who is the primary holder of call sign KMEE and who also programs MeTV music in Palm Springs CA.
  • KGHD-LD 6.x Las Vegas NV (Obidia Porras) has been approved by the FCC to change its call sign to KLVG-LD, effective September 1. Porras received consent to use the new call sign from Educational Media Foundation (EMF), who is the primary holder of call sign KLVG.
Network Changes
  • Weigel Broadcasting Co. has announced the debut of WEST (Western Entertainment Series Television), planned for late September 2025. It is expected to appear on the following Weigel-owned stations reaching Arizona:
    • KMEE-LD 40.x (32) Phoenix - confirmed on channel 40.5
    • K16DS-D 8.x St. George UT - advertised as channel 8.5
    • K27MQ-D 8.x St. George UT - advertised as channel 8.5
Construction Permits and STAs Granted
  • KVVU-TV 9.x Henderson NV (Gray Television Licensee LLC) requested and has been granted a construction permit to operate on its previously licensed VHF channel 9, following reinstatement of the channel in the Table of Allotments at Henderson NV. Technical specifications: Ch 9; TL 36° 0' 26" N, 115° 0' 25" W (Black Mtn.); ERP 120 kW HP 0.75° EBT; HAAT 383 m / 1,256 ft.
Expired, Expiring, Canceled and Dismissed
  • An STA permitting KBFY-LD 41.x (2) Fortuna (KBFY LLC) to operate at a new location while building out a major modification at its original location expired on August 18.
  • A minor construction permit allowing KBFY-LD 41.x (2) Fortuna (KBFY LLC) to change broadcast antenna and move higher on the tower expires on September 13. It will likely expire, as KBFY has a construction permit to move to a UHF frequency.
