- K40AD Cottonwood (Meredith Corporation) has been granted a license to cover a change in transmitting antenna. The old antenna, in use since 1989, is no longer being manufactured.
- KBLR 39.x (40) Paradise NV (Telemundo Las Vegas License LLC) has been granted a license to cover its maximized facilities. Technical specifications: Ch 40; TL 36-0-36 N, 115-0-20 W (Black Mtn.); ERP 1000 kW directional; HAAT 363 m.
- KELV-LD 27.x (15) Las Vegas NV (Entravision Holdings, LLC) has been granted a license to cover a new companion channel to KELV-LP. Technical specifications: Ch 15; TL 35-56-46 N, 115-2-34 W (Black Mtn. Arden); ERP 15 kW directional; HAAT 570 m.
Programming changes
- KFPB-LD 50.x Phoenix (Globe LPTV LLC) now airs an advertising loop on channels 50.5 and 50.6, replacing the blue screen. There is no change on channel 50.12; it still shows a blue screen.
Transactions
- KMCC 34.1 (32) Laughlin NV was approved by the FCC for transfer of license, first to Beam Tilt Intermediate LLC, then to Beam Tilt LLC. The transaction has been consummated.
Construction permits and STAs granted
- KCOS-LP 28.x Phoenix (Aracelis Ortiz Corporation) requested and was granted Special Temporary Authority to operate in digital at a power level lower than that specified in the digital flash cut application, which is awaiting Mexican coordination. Technical specifications: Ch 28; TL 33-29-39 N, 111-38-28 W (Usery Mtn.); ERP 0.025 kW directional; HAAT 284 m.

- KSWT 13.x Yuma (Harry Pappas) has requested to correct its antenna coordinates, moving north by one second and west by four seconds. Technical specifications: Ch 13; TL 33-3-18 N; 114-49-39 W (Black Mtn.); ERP 50 kW directional; HAAT 480 m.
- KTVP-LP 22.x Phoenix (Mako Communications, LLC) has requested displacement to channel 14, claiming potential to interfere with K53IJ, which has a CP to operate on ch 21 from Shaw Butte, and K23BY, which has a CP to operate on ch 23 from Usery Mtn. KTVP operates from South Mtn., which is more than twelve miles from the other sites. Several years ago, the FCC rejected a request from KPDF-CA to establish a digital companion on channel 14, citing interference to KUDF-LP Tucson. Technical specifications: Ch 14; TL 33-19-58 N; 112-3-59 W (South Mtn.); ERP 15 kW directional; HAAT 460 m.
- The University of Utah has requested a new station for Washington UT, to broadcast on channel 47 as a digital companion for K34FS St. George UT. The University had operated an analog station on channel 47, but canceled the license, freeing the channel. Technical specifications: Ch 47; TL 37-9-19 N, 113-52-57 W (West Peak); ERP 0.3 kW directional; HAAT 1106 m.

- The CP for a digital companion channel for KDTP-LP 58 Phoenix (Community Television Educators) expired on Feb. 20. No license to cover application has yet been filed, nor has a digital signal been seen.
- The CP for a digital companion channel for K51HV Cottonwood (Trinity Broadcasting of Arizona, Inc.) expired on Feb. 27. No license to cover application has yet been filed.
- The FCC has dismissed the displacement applications filed last month by KEGS-LD and KVPX-LD. No reason has been given.
- The FCC has canceled the analog license for KELV-LP 27 Las Vegas NV, likely by request from licensee Entravision. Its digital operation is fully functional.
- The CP for a digital companion channel for KDLQ-LP 55 St. George UT (CCR-St. George IV, LLC) expired on Feb. 20. No license to cover application has yet been filed, nor has a digital signal been seen.
- The FCC has canceled the analog license for K06OB Cane Beds AZ/Hildale UT by request from licensee University of Utah. Its digital operation is fully functional on channel 17.
- The University of Utah filed, then withdrew, an application for a digital companion for K34FS St. George UT, to have broadcast on channel 33. BYU already has a station on channel 33 in St. George.
- The FCC has canceled the analog license for K47AK Washington UT by request from licensee University of Utah. Its digital operation is fully functional on channel 44. The cancellation makes room for the University to request a digital companion to K34FS St. George, to broadcast on channel 47.
- The FCC has canceled the analog license for K51GH Washington UT by request from licensee Utah State Board of Regents. Its digital operation is fully functional on channel 50.
