New licenses


  • K20FO Sierra Vista (KVOA Communications LLC) has been granted a license to cover its correction of transmitter location and power. Technical specifications: Ch 20; TL 31° 28' 54" N, 109° 57' 33" W; ERP 42 kW directional; HAAT 641 m.

Programming changes


  • KFPB-LD 50.x Phoenix (Globe LPTV LLC) has dropped channel 50.8, which had aired SBN programming with the Spanish-language SAP audio.
  • KSNV 3.x (22) Las Vegas NV (KUPN Licensee, LLC) has replaced getTV on channel 3.3 with one of Sinclair's new diginets, Charge! TV.
  • KVCW 33.x (29) Las Vegas NV (KUPN Licensee, LLC) has added TBD to its lineup on channel 33.3, moving This TV to channel 33.4. TBD is a new Sinclair diginet.
  • K24CY-D 14.x St. George UT (KJZZ Licensee, LLC), a translator of KJZZ-TV 14.x Salt Lake City UT, now has Charge! TV in its lineup on channel 14.4.
  • K47OA-D 14.x Santa Clara UT (University of Utah), a translator of KJZZ-TV 14.x Salt Lake City UT, now has Charge! TV in its lineup on channel 14.4.

Transactions


  • KPPX-TV 51.x (31) Tolleson (America 51, LP) has requested another extension of time to consummate its pro forma assignments of license to Ion Media Phoenix License, LLC.
  • Nexstar Broadcasting requested and has been granted a pro forma assignment of license of each of their stations licensed to Lin of Colorado, LLC, including K30GL Many Farms. The new licensee will be Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc.
  • Nexstar Broadcasting requested and has been granted a pro forma assignment of license of each of their stations licensed to Lin of New Mexico, LLC, including K39FY Zuni NM. The new licensee will be Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc.

Construction permits and STAs granted


  • Fan Vision Entertainment LLC has requested and been granted Special Temporary Authority to operate a low power TV station from March 14 - 21 on RF channel 44 from Phoenix International Raceway during several NASCAR events on the 17th and 18th. The station has been assigned temporary call sign K44ST-D and will be licensed to Avondale. Technical specifications: Ch 44; TL 33° 22' 28" N, 112° 18' 39" W; ERP 0.075 kW non-directional; HAAT unknown.
  • Fan Vision Entertainment LLC has requested and been granted Special Temporary Authority to operate a low power TV station from March 7 - 14 on RF channel 49 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the 2017 NASCAR Weekend events. The station has been assigned temporary call sign K49ST-D and will be licensed to Las Vegas. Technical specifications: Ch 49; TL 36° 16' 18" N, 115° 0' 39" W; ERP 0.075 kW non-directional; HAAT unknown.
  • Fan Vision Entertainment LLC has requested and been granted Special Temporary Authority to operate a low power TV station from March 29 - April 2 on RF channel 49 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the 2017 DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals. The station has been assigned temporary call sign K49ST-D and will be licensed to Las Vegas. Technical specifications: Ch 49; TL 36° 16' 18" N, 115° 0' 39" W; ERP 0.075 kW non-directional; HAAT unknown.

Too late to edit the post, but KJZZ-TV also added TBD on channel 14.3, so the Dixie translators are showing that new diginet as well.
 
KAET's translator atop Mingus Mtn, K42AC-D, has apparently received some
much needed attention. They had usually been one of the weakest signals
on the mountain and are now one of the hottest. K44CN-D, translator for
KNXV, ABC 15, has been having lots of issues since the last storm, earlier
in March. Pixelating, freezing up, dropouts, etc, etc have been plaguing the
translator. Apparently K44CN-D is the source for K24KS-D atop Mt Eldon
in Flagstaff as that translator is now having the same issues........ If anyone
knows how to contact KNXV engineering via email that would be helpful....
