New licenses
- KUVE-TV 46.1 (47) Green Valley (Univision) was granted a license to cover the construction of their DTV station on channel 47.
New programming
- K25DM Phoenix (Mako Communications) has replaced Retro Jams with a music video service called My2Fish. I cannot find any information about the service.
Digital transition
- KAZT-CA 27 Phoenix (Londen Group) has transitioned to digital, shutting off its analog facilities on channel 27. The station IDs as 7.1 and continues to rebroadcast KAZT-TV 7 Prescott. The same signal is broadcast on channel 7.2, pending future addition of Retro Television Network on that subchannel. The rumored launch of Bohemia Visual Music on channel 7.3 seems to have been a false rumor.
Transactions
- Bela, owner of KMOH-TV 6 Kingman and KEJR-LP 43 Phoenix, has agreed to sell the stations, along with KBEH 63 Oxnard CA, to Hero Broadcasting LLC. Hero is essentially a new owner partnership, as Robert Behar serves as President of each entity.
- The transfer of control of ION network stations, including KPPX 51 Phoenix, from Paxson Management Group to CIG Media, has been consummated.
New construction permits
- KNXV-TV 15 Phoenix (Scripps Howard Broadcasting Company) has been granted permission to replace their analog-only transmitter with a dual analog/digital transmitter, reducing their analog ERP from 1070 kW to 750 kW.
- K25DM Phoenix (Mako Communications) has been granted a displacement construction permit to move to channel 6. When licensed, the station's new callsign will be K06OX. I assume that this will override the construction permit that they already received to build a digital companion to KTVP-LP on channel 6.
Applications not yet granted
- KNXV-TV 15 Phoenix (Scripps Howard Broadcasting Company) has filed for a license to cover the modifications to its broadcast facilities.

- K54GI Flagstaff (Belo/KTVK) has requested a displacement permit to move from channel 54 to channel 17.
- K57BO Globe-Miami (Belo/KTVK) has requested a displacement permit to move from channel 57 to channel 14.
Applications dismissed
- An application by Fiberlessnet to build a LPTV station serving Littlefield on channel 39 has once again been dismissed. It had been dismissed in January 2007, but was granted reconsideration in April.
- An application by Fiberlessnet to build a LPTV station serving Peach Springs on channel 46 has once again been dismissed. It had been dismissed in January 2007, but was granted reconsideration in April.
License renewals
