Programming Changes
- KDVD-LD 50.x Globe (Globe LPTV LLC) has replaced ShopHQ on channel 50.3 with TeleVida Abundante.
- Free TV Networks (FTN) is planning to launch a fourth TV network on March 1, joining Outlaw, 365BLK and DEFY, according to a press release (Free TV Networks). BUSTED plans to show high-adrenaline, crime-focused programming designed to appeal to men. Gray Media has been an OTA partner of FTN, but FTN also plans to partner with Scripps, Nexstar Media Group and HC2 Broadcasting to roll out this new network.
- K06QW-D Sentinel (Quad Marketing Group LLC) has been granted a major change to its license, changing channel from VHF 6 to VHF 9, changing location from near Mobile to the South Mountain antenna farm, and changing community of license from Sentinel to Phoenix. When licensed, its call sign will be K09AAH-D. Technical specifications: Ch 9; TL 33° 20' 1" N, 112° 3' 48" (South Mountain); ERP 1 kW HP DA 0.5° EBT; HAAT 490 m / 1,607 ft.
- KBFY-LD 41.x (2) Fortuna (KBFY LLC) has requested an Engineering STA to move to a different tower within the antenna farm. Technical specifications: Ch 2; TL 33° 3' 10" N, 114° 49' 44" W (Black Mtn.); ERP 3 kW DA HP; HAAT 364 m / 1,194 ft.
- KVPX-LD 28.x Las Vegas NV (HC2 Station Group Inc.) has requested a minor modification to its license to change antenna and location, and to maximize power. The proposal has failed TOWAIR Determination due to no Antenna Structure Registration number, and KVPX must resolve the issue by March 1, or at least notify the FCC that a resolution is in progress. Technical specifications: Ch 28; TL 36° 8' 51" N, 115° 9' 20" W (The STRAT Tower); ERP 15 kW H / Unknown V 1° EBT; HAAT 90 m / 295 ft.
- KVVU-TV 5.x (9) Henderson NV (Gray Television LLC) has petitioned to substitute VHF channel 9 for UHF channel 24 in the Henderson NV table of allotments. It will not be able to build out its station on UHF channel 24 before the construction permit expires on March 2.
- The construction permit authorizing KVVU-TV 5.x (9) Henderson NV (Gray Television LLC) to change to UHF channel 24 will expire on March 2.
- The construction permit authorizing KEGS-LD 30.x (24) Las Vegas NV (HC2 Station Group Inc.) to change to VHF channel 8 will expire on March 3.
- KVPX-LD 28.x Las Vegas NV (HC2 Station Group Inc.) requested and has been granted a modification to its license to specify NextGen (ATSC 3.0) operations. The station intends to commence ATSC 3.0 operations on February 24.
