- KCOS-LP 28 Phoenix (Aracelis Ortiz Corporation) is once again broadcasting programming from Fe-TV.
- K23FZ Camp Verde (Camp Verde TV Club) is again retransmitting K18DD Camp Verde on channel 23. It had been transmitting on channel 62, which is still on.
New programming
- K25DM Phoenix (Latin America Broadcasting) has switched from Home Shopping Network to LAT TV.
- KWKM-LP 10 Show Low and KWSJ-LP 12 Snowflake (KM Communications) are both broadcasting programming from America One.
Callsign changes
- K45KL Flagstaff is once again going by callsign KAFL-LP.
Special Temporary Authority (STA) granted
- KQBN-LP 28 Prescott (Una Vez Mas) applied for and has been granted a six-month extension to their STA, allowing them to continue analog broadcasts from temporary facilities on Towers Mountain near Crown King. They claim to still be seeking a suitable location for their analog transmission, but it is likely that they will continue to use current facilities until they are able to get a digital broadcast up and running from the White Tanks mountains west of Phoenix and shut down analog forever.
- KPHE-LP 44 Phoenix (Lotus TV) applied for and has been granted an extension of their STA to operate at 150 kW. Lotus has has an application on file with the FCC for the power increase since March 2006. There is a freeze on such requests pending resolution of DTV and LPDTV applications, but the FCC grants STAs on case-by-case basis.
- K42EZ Santa Clara UT (Larry H Miller Communications) has been granted a six-month extension of their STA to operate.
Construction permits granted
- K27EC Lake Havasu City (Lake Havasu Christian Television) has been granted a construction permit to flash cut to digital.
Construction permits reinstated
- The CP for KPDF-CA 41 Phoenix (Una Vez Mas) to increase power to 150 kW has been reinstated. The CP had been dismissed in May due to interference concerns with KVPA-LP 42 Phoenix and KUDF-LD 41 Tucson. Una Vez Mas filed a petition for reconsideration in June, which was granted.
Silent stations
- KOLD-DT 13.3 Tucson is no longer broadcasting The Tube music network, as the network has shut down effective October 1.
- K59BP Camp Verde (Camp Verde TV Club) has been granted its silent STA request.
- K55IY Camp Verde (Camp Verde TV Club) is silent, having had filed a silent STA in May due to transmitter failure. It was an older model and they had not been able to find a suitable replacement part.
Transactions
- The sale of construction permits for K30IP Littlefield, K49IM Parker, K55KC Quartzsite and K27IJ Tacna from Valley Broadcasting and Yuma Broadcasting to Hispanic Christian Community Network (HCCN) has been consummated.
- The sale of KYUM-LP 2 Yuma from HCCN to Centro Cristiana Vida Abundante has been consummated.
- Latin America Broadcasting has agreed to sell K25DM Phoenix to Mako Communications. The sale is pending FCC approval.
Applications filed but not yet approved
- KAFL-LP 20 Flagstaff (Una Vez Mas) has again applied for a construction permit to move to channel 45. It is the same application as the one granted then rescinded by the FCC, except that this time, it claims displacement due to proximity to KPAZ-DT 20 Phoenix. KAFL's transmitter is within the 265 km (165 mi) radius under which a station can claim displacement, even though terrain makes interference unlikely, especially since the transmitter for K20HS Flagstaff, with whom KAFL first claimed interference, is closer to Phoenix.
- KESE-LP 35 Yuma (Gulf-California Broadcast Company) has filed an amendment to an application that has been on file with the FCC since August 2000. The original application sought to increase power from 8 kW to 150 kw; this amendment changes the requested broadcast power to 13 kW.
License renewals
- The FCC has renewed the license of KUTP 45 Phoenix (Fox Television Stations).
