New Licenses
  • K36JX-D 7.x Many Farms (Hearst Properties Inc.) has been granted a license to cover its antenna, height and power changes. Technical specifications: Ch 36; TL 36° 37' 27" N, 109° 5' 35" W (Roof Butte); ERP 1.3 kW HP 1.5° EBT; HAAT 674 m / 2,211 ft.
Programming Changes
  • KSAZ-TV 10.x Phoenix (NW Communications of Phoenix Inc.) has replaced The Grio TV with TBD on channel 10.4. TBD has changed from airing short videos to a comedy channel.
  • KPPX-TV 51.x (31) Tolleson (Inyo Broadcast Licenses LLC) has replaced JTV on channel 51.7 with Get TV.
  • KWBA-TV 58.x (21) Sierra Vista (Scripps Broadcasting Holdings LLC) has replaced Defy on channel 58.7 with Ion Plus and JTV on channel 58.8 with Get TV.
  • KVPA-LD 42.x (34) Phoenix (Bridge News LLC) has replaced FunRoads on channel 42.2 with RC TV (Rare Coins TV), and has added channels 42.13 and 42.14, airing Outdoor America and National Black Television, respectively. All stations owned by Bridge News appear to be affected, so it is likely that these changes have occurred on K08BN-LD Golden Valley, K34QY-LD Golden Valley, and KDNU-LD 7.x (30) Las Vegas NV as well.
  • *K12XP-D 22.x Phoenix (HC2 Station Group Inc.) has replaced National Black Television with Magnificent Movies Network on channel 22.1 and has replaced BeIn Sports Xtra with Timeless TV on channel 22.6.
Network Changes
  • KPAZ-TV 21.x (20) Phoenix (Trinity Broadcasting of Arizona Inc.) has replaced Smile, its children's network, with infomercials on channel 21.4.
Transactions
  • K04SE-D (K11XV-D) Parker (Lowcountry 34 Media LLC) has received FCC approval of its proposed sale to Quad Marketing Group, along with another LPTV station, for the amount of $300,000.00. The sale has been consummated.
Construction Permits, Tolling, and STAs Granted
  • KDVD-LD 50.x (25) Globe (Globe LPTV LLC) requested and has been granted a modification to its construction permit to maximize power. The modification specifies a different make and model antenna, which is circularly polarized instead of horizontally. All other parameters remain the same. Technical specifications: Ch 25; TL 33° 19' 57" N, 112° 4' 0" W (South Mtn.); ERP 15 kW DA CP 2.5° EBT; HAAT 480 m / 1574 ft.
  • K04SE-D Buckeye (Lowcountry 34 Media LLC) has been granted a major modification to its license, with a channel change, site move, and change in city of license. The station will broadcast from the electronics site atop the White Tank Mountains on VHF channel 11, where it will be able to serve most of Phoenix and the West Valley. When licensed, its new call sign will be K11XV-D and its community of license will be Phoenix. Technical specifications: Ch 11; TL 33° 34' 5" N, 112° 33' 33" W (White Tank Mtns.); ERP 3 kW HP 1° EBT; HAAT 738 m / 2,621 ft.
  • Live Sports Radio LLC requested and has been granted an STA to operate a low power television facility on VHF channel 3 at the Wynn Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, between January 26 and January 28. Technical specifications: Ch 3; TL 36° 7' 34" N, 115° 10' 3" W (Wynn Resort & Casino); ERP 5 W EP; HAAT -5 m / -16 ft (AGL 18.5 m / 56 ft).
Construction Permits, Tolling, and STAs Requested
  • K06QW-D Sentinel (Quad Marketing Group LLC) has requested a major change to its license, changing channel from VHF 6 to VHF 9, changing location from near Mobile to the South Mountain antenna farm, and changing community of license from Sentinel to Phoenix. Technical specifications: Ch 9; TL 33° 20' 1" N, 112° 3' 48" (South Mountain); ERP 1 kW HP DA 0.5° EBT; HAAT 490 m / 1607 ft.

  • K35OU-D 21.x Tucson (Ventana Television Inc.) has notified the FCC that it resumed operations on December 8.
