Silent stations
- KCFG 9.x (32) Flagstaff (KM Communications of Flagstaff) has filed a request for silent STA, claiming to have lost its transmitter site. The station claims to have gone silent on Sept. 9, 2009; I have never been able to receive a signal from the station and its Flagstaff studios have been shut down.
- KDFQ-LP 47 Prescott (Una Vez Mas Prescott License II LLC) ceased operations on February 26 due to technical difficulties and has filed a request for silent STA.
- K57JO Laughlin NV (9th Island Broadcasting, Inc.) has filed a request for silent STA pending approval of its displacement flash cut to digital on channel 49.
Transactions
- The FCC has approved the pro forma transfer of K44CN Cottonwood, K47DJ Prescott, K52CM Flagstaff and K57FY Kingman from Scripps Howard Broadcasting Company to Scripps Media Inc.
- KMCC 34.x (32) Laughlin NV (Cranston Acquisition LLC Debtor-in-Possession) has been approved by the FCC to drop the debtor-in-possession status following its emergence from Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
- KBLR 39.x (40) Paradise NV (Telemundo Las Vegas License LLC) has filed an application to transfer control of the ownership from General Electric Company to Comcast Corporation as part of the sale of NBC.

Granted construction permits and STAs
- KTVW-CA 6 Flagstaff/Doney Park (KTVW License Partnership, GP [Univision]) has been granted a displacement construction permit to build its digital facilities on channel 27, which had formerly been used by sister station KFPH-TV 13 Flagstaff. The station will also relocate its transmitting antenna from Mt. Elden to Mormon Mtn., co-locating with KFPH. Approved operating parameters: Ch 27; TL 34-58-6 N, 111-30-34 W; ERP 7.2 kW; HAAT 461 m.
- K03ID-D Flagstaff (One Ministries, Inc.) has been granted an original construction permit to broadcast on channel 3 with transmitter antenna atop Mormon Mtn. Approved operating parameters: Ch 3; TL 34-58-6 N, 111-30-28 W; ERP 0.3 kW; HAAT 454 m.
- K09KV Prescott (Meredith Corporation) has been granted a six-month extension of its CP to build digital facilities on channel 30, claiming possible interference to facilities requested by KCFG Flagstaff. On the surface, the claim makes no sense, as KCFG is requesting to operate on channel 9, while K09KV is requesting operations on channel 30. Perhaps if KCFG's request to move to channel 9 is denied, K09KV wishes to request a change on its application to specify channel 9 instead of channel 30.
- K16EO Oro Valley/Tucson (Journal Broadcast Corporation) has been granted an extension of its STA to operate digital facilities on channel 16 pending approval of its formal application.
- KFPH-CA 35 Phoenix (Telefutura Partership of Phoenix [Univision]) has been granted a CP to operate its analog station at 150 kW. The application was filed in February 2003.
- KPDF-CA 41 Phoenix (Una Vez Mas Phoenix License LLC) has been granted an STA to flash cut to digital as soon as possible while awaiting Mexican coordination for its formal flash cut application. It, along with KTVP-LP 22, are the last Spanish-language stations without a digital signal. KPDF has claimed to have lost three advertising accounts in just the past two weeks because its OTA audience uses converter boxes to get digital signals, meaning that its analog signal no longer reaches those homes.
- KLVD-LD 23 Las Vegas NV (Word of God Fellowship [Daystar]) has been granted a CP to flash cut to digital. Proposed operating parameters: Ch 23; TL 36-0-36 N, 115-0-20 W; ERP 15 kW; HAAT 346 m.
- KVPX-LD 28 Las Vegas NV (Mako Communications) has been granted a six-month extension of its construction permit for digital operations, to 09/16/2010.
- KHDF-CA 19 Las Vegas NV (Una Vez Mas Las Vegas License LLC) has been granted a CP to operate its analog station at 150 kW.

- Fort Mojave Television has filed an application to build a new low-power television station to serve the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation and the entire Mojave Valley, from Laughlin NV/Bullhead City to Needles CA. The transmitting antenna is to be located on the valley floor, resulting in a negative height above average terrain. Proposed operating parameters: Ch 23; TL 34-57-50 N, 114-34-13 W; ERP 15 KW; HAAT -50 m, 55 m above ground level.
- K63HJ Laughlin NV (Roger Mills) has filed a displacement application to move to an in-core channel and operate in digital from a location near Dolan Springs AZ, co-located with KMCC. Proposed operating parameters: Ch 10; TL 35-39-7 N, 114-18-42 W; ERP 0.3 kW; HAAT 425 m.
- Tiny Tortoise Investments LLC has filed amendments to its new channel applications to serve Mesquite NV on channels 15, 19 and 21. The amendments correct the common antenna location, HAAT and pattern rotation, the latter yielding proposed station contours that cover the entire city of Mesquite. Amended proposed operating parameters: Chs 15, 19, 21; TL 36-49-56 N, 114-3-31 W; ERP 0.5 kW; HAAT 570 m.
- K48JD Santa Clara UT (High Plains Broadcasting License Company LLC) has filed an application to flash cut to digital. The station, a translator of KUCW 30 Ogden UT, would receive its feed from K30GC-D Rural Beaver UT. The analog station does not currently broadcast into Arizona, but the digital station is predicted to. Proposed operating parameters: Ch 48; TL 37-9-15 N, 113-51-32 W; ERP 0.5 kW; HAAT 1064 m.
- KUWB-LP 22 Bloomington UT (High Plains Broadcasting License Company LLC) has filed an application to flash cut to digital. The station, a translator of KUCW 30 Ogden UT, would receive its feed from K48JD Santa Clara UT. Proposed operating parameters: Ch 22; TL 37-3-48 N, 113-34-23 W; ERP 0.13 kW; HAAT 58 m.
Dismissed applications
- The FCC has dismissed many construction permits for pre-transition facilities and STAs for temporary pre-transition operations.
- K52EG Yuma (Three Angels Broadcasting Network, Inc.) had an application to move to channel 10 dismissed. No reason was given, but Mexican objection looks like the cause.
