Arizona's first LP DTV station is on the air

As reported in the last TV station update, KSAZ had applied for a license for a digital companion channel to K04AI, its translator in Prescott. The station is confirmed on the air, translating KSAZ-DT. Looks good. The station is K39IT-D, broadcasting on UHF channel 39, and identifies as channel 10.1 on ATSC tuners, consistent with FCC rules.

Also, in Flagstaff, while KNAZ is a satellite of KPNX, KNAZ-DT only carries a simulcast of KNAZ-TV. It does not carry Weather Plus on DT2, as KPNX does.
