Arkansas X-band station returns

KYHN 1650 Fort Smith is back on the air as of a few days ago. They're running their licensed 10kW day and 1kW night.

Heard about it on Glenn Hauser's show.....
I wonder if they are really back, or is this just the yearly "keep the license" broadcast.
Keep us posted.

All I can tell you is I heard a station ID and a liner a little while ago during part of the Clark Howard Show, which they mentioned was on the air from 5 to 8 PM. As for what they're doing the rest of the time, I haven't a clue, and there's no website to be found.

KYHN has been running a "Barker Loop" since Feb 11. About 20+ min long, it repeats over and over and over. Some odd choices as in promoting NFL Dial-Global football and OU (Oklahoma) football in February. The station might actually end up on the air with real programming but not holding my breath.
