As reported by WJAR TV last night, Arlene was scheduled to work one final day so she as well as her audience could say goodbyes. However in typical Radio fashion Clear Channel pulled a fast one on her and didn't allow her to do the final show that they had promised.
If any one of you have any doubt in your Mind that this business is run by the lowest of the low, than you've still got time to change your mind. I can't count how many times I've heard similar stories. Not only is it bad enough to fire half the company right before Christmas, but you arn't even going to allow someone to Broadcast the final show you promised them.
This is the sort of thing that made me get into the Voiceover Business. I can work independently from home and don't have to deal with this type of corporate Bullcrap! Some of you Radio Stations have lost your freaking Minds!
