ARLENE: The musical

Anybody else catch the blurb in the Projo? Arlene Violet is seeking backing for a musical based on her years as AG. Auditions are 12/21 at the Kingston Congregational Church on Route 138 across from URI. Looking for 11 male singers ranging from age 20 to mid 60s & 3 females ranging from 8 years old to an older woman. You don't have to be the actual age but should be able to act the part. You need to bring a photo & will have to sing at the audition including a number from Chicago. Hmmm. I think I'd rather see a musical based on her time on the air at WHJJ.

I beleieve I heard that Saturday on The Saturday Morning News w/ Pat Mastors. I think Mary Ann mentioned it. I dunno, there was a lot of stuff going on on my end of work to pay that much attention.

they'll need lots of tiny violins!!!

/sorry I couldn't help myself, I don't even know/care about that whole situation.

Pathetic. Truly pathetic.

I like the idea of an Arlene at HJJ musical. There's even a part for Tony the dancing cop in the final scene.
