Armstrong & Getty

I remember listening to "Armstrong & Getty" maybe 5-6 years ago. But I don't know what station they were on. What station (in the bay area) might I have been listening to? Thanks, Mike

I know I listened to them for a while, but I honestly can't remember when or where. Do they only air on talk radio stations or have they done gigs at music stations?

Only talk. If you were in Northern California, the only other possibility is KSTE 650 from Sacramento. That’s where the show originates, and it throws a decent signal toward the Bay Area.

They were on the air in the morning in the mid nineties hosting a show called Out of the Sack with Joe and Jack on KYMX in Sacramento. Ken Kohl hired them away for KSTE. Their office was next to mine when I worked for Y92 as Music Director.

iHeartRadio app Sacramento feed if you were streaming the show. KSTE Sacramento is mainly a secondary Talk station with syndicated content owned by Iheart while KFBK Sacramento is the main News/talk station in the valley managed by Iheart.

Armstrong and Getty is KSTE's only original show that has went on to be syndicated to other parts of the USA.
