Why would The Fan let him go? He's the only one with ratings or worth listening to. Hopefully someone nationally will pick him up so he can still be heard. I've been listening to him since the 90's. He JT, Bruno are still the best.
 
Doubt the Fan is letting him go. He's probably moving on to a better and more stable gig. How much longer will CBS continue to pour money down the 105.3 drain?
 
I have a feeling that The Fan will be off the air by this time next year and replaced w/ either a syndicated talker format or..and heres my pipe dream..a K-Rock style format for D/FW
 
If Fox Sports Radio were smart enough, they'd hire Arnie and dump Petros and Money. Not sure if those two are aired in the DFW, but it's three hours of unlistenable radio.

If that happens how much longer are they locked into being the Cowboys flagship station?
 
I heard he's moving back east to be closer to his family. I know he has a teenage son that plays hockey up around Buffalo. Not sure if his wife is there or not. I don't listen to him anymore but I know he's been living in an apartment with another guy from the show.
 
Since Bruce Gilbert came in after Arnie was hired for probably a three year contract, and immediately moved him to the non-rated late shift, I don't see how this was a surprise. When they push Gavin to that shift, you'll know he's the next to go. Just burning through contracts
 
One has to why Gilbert pushed him to and kept him in that slot when his the show was the only one that had any ratings?
