Anybody know anything?

ALL ACCESS heard longtime SPORTING NEWS RADIO host ARNIE SPANIER's name come up in conjunction with another position elsewhere, and then heard that name ticketed as a contender for other positions at the same time.

Are there serious talks going on for at least one national and a local gig, or will the "STINKIN' GENIUS" stick around at SNR? Stay tuned....
 
Arnie Spanier is usually prempted here, but the times I have heard him, very entertaining host.
 
Arnie's okay, but with this radio economy, I doubt he's being wooed by a bigger network gig. He's probably under contract and Sporting News would be happy to see him take a local gig somewhere so that dying operation can save money by putting on another low-paid hack in a time slot no one carries or listens to.
