ARROW in South Florida

Question for everyone on here: I remember the Arrow format when it was big in the 90's, especially in Naples and Jacksonville. Was there ever an Arrow format in South Florida, or something similar?

I guess the current Magic right now isn't totally off, with the "Classic Tracks of the 60s/70s/80s, but doesn't have the expansive playlist or get into the rock format as much as the Arrow's did.

Isn't that what Big 105.9 here is, basically, aside from maybe a huge playlist?

Fort Myers had a Arrow in the 90's (I think it is now 96 Rock)

the closest thing to an "Arrow"-type station in Miami proper was, as cd pointed out, WBGG...While now a mainstream Classic Rocker it was, originally "Big Seventies Hits!! The New Big 106" for its' first few months in existance, and later, "Classic Hits" before evolving to what it is now.

Does anyone have an aircheck of Big 106 during the 70's/Classic Hits days or know where I might be able to find one?

Somewhere in the depths of my collection along with a quick recording of Power 96 from 1986, Love 94 in '89, there is a 90 minute tape of BIG 106 FM from late Spring 1995 as All '70s. I think that tape has either Andre Farr or Tyler as jocks and a bunch of liners in between songs.

I KNOW there are other recordings out there.....
