Art Astor $15.4 Million

Art Astor recently sold cars from his collection. The total take: $15.4 million before the auction house share.

He currently owns KCEO-AM 1000 (Visita) KSPA-AM 1510 (Ontario) and KFSD-AM 1450 (Escondido). The 1450 antenna is located next door to the "Stone Brewery" in Escondido.

Plus the money he got from NationWide when the KCEO deal went down for AM 1000 in Vista.

(I didn't rename the town Visita ... iPhones are great but their spell check is over active. Type in Rick Pope and you get Lick Poop. Funny!)

I don't know how Art makes money off his stations... with that programming, who's listening? But I guess there's no shortage of folks with egos willing to pony up for an hour of airtime.
