Article says US diplomat complained about Canadian TV

The basics of the story are:
Contained within the recent WikiLeaks disclosings, it's stated that Former U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins told The Associated Press he didn't write or approve a diplomatic cable, on which his name appears, that complains about "insidious negative" stereotypes concerning American activities on Canadian TV shows.
The cable also mentions displeasure about how Americans are portrayed in the show "Little Mosque on the Prairie."

as an American I'd say that he should be spending his time on more important
things than watching television and complaining about Canadian shows.
