Artificial Grounds for P15 AM

You're probably familiar with the "artificial ground" devices that ham operators sometimes use, especially in crowded town/urban locations where radials, etc. can't be installed. Would one of these work for a P15 AM station?

Yes, they will work, though not of course as efficiently as a 1/4 wavelength counterpoise. They mostly seem to be series-tuned devices. Take a look at these two artificial ground web pages:
