As Couric One Year Anniversary Approaches, CBS is getting desperate

Good grief what a stupid thing to do. At best they'll get good video of her in Iraq they can use in promos for years to come. It won't help the ratings at all. At worst.. there will be an opening at CBS news. I wish them all the best.
 
(1) Hope Ms. Couric won't get hurt by these "Terrorists" that want to harm everyone who don't support their worldview.

(2) We don't need Evening news any longer. It's done served its purpose. Let's find some alternative programming to air, in these time slots.

(3) Besides evrything that's going on, was already predicted to happen by God and the inspired writers of His Word.

Please, spare us the Armageddon theories. "Inspired writers" who were known to both change and create stories? Really, that talk has no place here on a television board. Take it Outside.

I'll give you a prediction of my own: Katherine will be on the Early Show within the next six months to a year. Either that or CBS turns her into their version of Barbara Walters, with prime-time specials. Count on it.
 
Since I will be watching Charlie Gibson (when he returns from vacation) there is no reason for me to see how Katie does in the middle east. Is this an attempt to boost the CBS Evening News ratings? Sure it is. I just hope that Ms. Couric doesn't get hurt or worse over there in "nut country."
 
Will she be wearing the honorary Dan Rather war-zone attire?

Maybe they can put her in a bikini and have her firing semi-automatic weapons. That would boost the ratings.
 
It popped into my head that CBS may be planning a Howard Beale type send off for her?

Well, maybe not that desperate

Miss Kouric is going abroad at a convenient time. The US government and the Liberal Media are beating the drums for a war against Iran.

She'll have plenty of company over there. Her show's producer, Rick Kaplan, was president of CNN when it employed US Army PsyOps to prepare war news in Clinton time. PsyOps is Pentagon-speak for Propaganda Specialist.
