To beat WRFY with that would be a stretch. With what Y102's been playing, no way they beat them if it's gonna sound just like what they had with WODE. They better have somebody who knows what going on. Sheeesh.

I much agree with that.

Honestly, I don't think Nassau's playing it smart ignoring the eastern half of their signal (Lehigh, Montgomery, Bucks) with a marketing strategy specified to Reading

It would have been dumb to flip it to Country. To be honest I wish it was a flamethrowing CHR.

HIGH NOON.
Oh boy. "Featuring Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John and the Eagles"
Woo-hoo! They're toast.

"Welcome to Reading's new #1 for classic hits."...LOL

Ok, maybe I'm just bitter. Although I was only an occassional WBYN listener (Word FM is more my speed), they were a little more unique than it seems Frank-FM will be...no?

I don't know about it being dumb to flip to country. See one of my earlier posts. WIOV is ripe for the picking. Going with a format that WRFY is already kinda sorta doing already, however, makes me scratch my head.

About those radio presets down below...

I think after listening to the flip for 20 minutes I can update this:

WAS-

WXPN 88.5
WBYO 88.9
WRTI 90.1
WVLT 92.1 (for close to work around rtes.202 & 29)
WBEN 95.7
WRFY 102.5
WJJZ 106.1
WBYN 107.5

Sorry can't find 2 more worth listening to.

IS-

Suprising. Very surprising. I would call "stunt" considering they could have just taken everything from their other 107.5 Frank-FM in Maine, but Nassau isn't really known for that sort of thing. This probably is the new format, and I think based on Y102's recent changes, that it's a bad move.
