As Giant Brian's Show FINALLY Debuts on Project..............

......I was on my way to work this morining rather early (3:30am), and there was a morning show audition airing on Dave. It was clearly VT'd, but they mentioned the DMB show at Piedmont Park among a few other things. I wasn't sure, but it sounded like they were interviewing Dennis Leary. He mentioned New York a lot, knew nothing about Atlanta, and at least sounded like Dennis. They never plugged much about the show's name, and said their names once (which I forgot quickly) at the close, mentioning it was a morning show audition.

... maybe this is a new approach for Dave, morning drive radio in the overnight. I guess the traffic reports would at least be less cluttered at 3:30 in the morning LOL.

Looking at Yes.com they played only played a total of 7 songs from 1:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. I guess it gave Orff and Holly something to listen to on there way to work.

They were on again this morning. Of course I'm somewhat conscience (got my cup of coffee.....mmmm, coffee). The guy I thought sounded like Leary was Brian, there's a Mark and Mike (Wheeler?). Brian's going to be on again tonight, along with another "host" auditioning. Mike said he might listen in, but evidently he and Mark weren't going to be there.

Jimmy Baron was on this morning. Evidently, Brian worked behind the scenes over at 99X.

Probably a tryout for a different city. Like when Toucher and Rich did a week in Phoenix. I doubt they would be so blatant to say this might be our new morning show Firfer and Orff. Although I am sure they realize they are on a short-term lease.
