I heard that a station is for sale for $800,000. Which one is it?

Hey Kids,
It's absolutley NOT WZNN. HRN Broadcasting is in this for the long haul.
BUT... WSKY 1230 AM has been on the market for a while.
Hope that helps.

Actually, you are both wrong: at this very moment there aren't any stations on the market in Asheville. Unfortunately, certain brokers who shall remain nameless find it necessary to muddy the waters by advertising stations for sale on their websites even when the station may not actually be for sale.

In fact, when a station is truly on the market, most brokers are tactful and professional enough to be discrete in marketing the property. Just think of the last ten REAL transactions you found out about...chances are, you didn't know the station was really on the market until it was already sold.

Any broker worth the title has enough sense to only release listing information to qualified prospects, not to God and everyone on their website. And, if you'll notice, those brokers who are not discrete almost never do a deal.

There's my rant for the day...
