The songs are good for pop radio. But Alternative? They songs are good at all but we have gotten 2 request in the past day for his new song. I don't really want to play it but what do you all feel about it.

I'd love to tell you what I think..but everytime I try it gets erased. Maybe some things haven't changed around here.
 
Well, it all depends on how you define "alternative." There's the Dennis McNamara, Richard Sands, Max Tolkoff, etc. brand of Alternative from before 1992 or so, and then there's the Kevin Weatherly, Bill Gamble, Brian Phillips, Joel Folger Alternative from the mid-nineties. Phillips played Paul McCartney, Weatherly played Tony Bennett, Folger played Robin S, etc. etc. so I don't think those guys had too much vested in sticking to pre-defined formats or definitions.
