AT&T ISDN Line Needed

Does anybody know who to contact at AT&T to order and ISDN line?

It's now part of AT&T Small Business. The "plans and service" number on my bill is 1 866 620-6000
but last time I called it about something the guy said I had the wrong number.

Some have never heard of the product and claim they don't have it. They do.

If you get lost in the AT&T land of confusion call a local station's engineer and ask who he's dealing with.

I had a station tell me last week they had gone with the new Telos Zypher box that is IP interface to send
audio over the internet simply because of AT&T's repeated poor service in this area. But AT&T is the only
one to offer it.

I'm a former DJ from Louisiana who switched careers 6 years ago and now work for AT&T. If you private message me your info, I can have someone contact you to set everything up.

Good topic to ask, but what is the current bast way to do remote broadcast? Does anyone have opinions on if isdn is better verses using internet via IP conx? Or do some use their wireless devices and attach equipment using wi fi?

We use a little of everything: Marti, Comrex Access (great if hardwired) and now iPads.

iPad (with 3g) + Wavepad + Dropbox + good mic = remote from anywhere, no power or wifi needed!

Yeah this is like asking to please have rotary dial service only..or trying to find a new black and white TV. I was actually "paid" by our rural telco to discontinue my ISDN because I was the only one with it in my part of the state, and they had to pay a fellow full time money to sit around in case I had a problem. It ended up costing them less to pay me off then maintain one person's full time position.

I am now using Source-Connect on a PC and for the price (waaaaaay cheaper than a Zephyr) it sounds better, and if setup right is just as reliable. PLUS there are ISDN bridging services so you can still do real-time actual ISDN sessions with clients (I do commercial VoiceOver) by just giving the bridging service SPID numbers and connecting with Source Connect to the bridger. About 40 bucks per half hour..and that..compared to a monthly rate of 172.00 for each month is a better deal..

Or inquiring about the latest version of Betamax.
