AT&T will put a damper on heavy bandwidth users..

HI All streamers and fans of streaming radio. As everyone heard AT&T the former Ma Bell will be putting a surcharge on bandwidth after 150GB a month Uverse will have 250GB limit.I know this will affect companies like Netflix and other video on demand services online .but will this put a hamper on the radio streaming biz.or private streamers have to limit their times to stream.I'm going to start a radio webcast, but with this notice today .I do have second thoughts now in starting one up .

I have a 250gb cap too and I stream 24/7 in both dial up 24k and BB 128k and I ahve never had a problem, the only problem you may have is if you run a virtual server Shoutcast dnas and have a lot of listeners.. As long as it is going through a remote server then a 128k stream 24/7 is fine.. Ive even got a bandwidth meter that I use to check the bandwidth,, the most ive ever hit was just over 50gb.
