Athletes on the Daily Show

Since we're still on subject on election coverage, why won't they give time to talk to athletes on the Daily Show? I know the sports world has talked about Tom Brady's injury all week & one of the biggest sports stories all this week & probably this year, do you think they should devote more time to this on Jon Stewart's program since he's like the 2nd most expensive quarterback in the NFL right now? I wonder if Randy Moss & other of his teammates should talk it it over to Mr. Stewart that the injury will stun the fans in the NFL, since he'll be out for the entire year. What do you think?

It would be OK with me...but remember the Daily Show is about entertainment first, and politics second. The satire all revolves around politics and the entertainment industry. The guests are usually on to publicize a movie or a book they've written. So I doubt an athlete would be on unless he had a book to sell. Offhand, I can't recall if that has ever happened.
