Atlanta 25-54 Demogrpahic help

Could someone provide the top 3-4 stations in the 25-54 demographic, male & female? I know WSB am and fm are in there, but who else?

Thanks in advance ...

Even though I knew they had some XM reference, but do you know that when I first read the comment about "Lucy" and "Ethel" I thought of Lucille Ball and Ethel Merman? I guess it was all of the oldies talk mixed with it. But still, is it just me, or do you also agree that an Alternative format station should be named other than "Lucy" or "Ethel"? How about "Ten", or "Dirt", or "Teen Spirit Stank", something the alterna-heads would get? How about "Pete"? What kind of format would fit "Pete"?

I agree. Obviously the folks at XM don't feel that much of a need to put much thought into branding their channels-it's not a selling point for them, nor should it be. Why is 80s alt called "Fred"? Fred Schneider, perhaps? And "Chrome" for the disco dance channel makes no sense with 80s dance now in the mix along with the disco. Still, it would make for a nicer listen if they took 10 minutes to come up with some more creative names they could have fun with. Enough with the "Jack" copycats (that includes you, Dave, too).

For 90s alt (Ethel), I'd like "Shotgun To The Head While Doped Up On Smack", myself. It's amazing how dying will help some folks' careers.

Yeah that Kurt Cobain was a no-name before he died.

jabba about XM. if i could afford it i could also listen to 99x hd. not every1 can do that dude. some of us r college students living on ramen noodles and looking for gas money under the couch. shouldnt have to pay for what should be free on the airwaves.

Lucille Ball's character's neighbor and friend in the old "I Love Lucy" show was Ethel Mertz played by Vivian Vance. Ethel Merman was a Broadway star and AFAIK never appeared with Lucille Ball, at least not in the sense that most folks would remember them together.

Thank God I only have to grow old once!

It's V, 750am,followed by Cox's 3 adult FM's, giving Cox 4 in the Top 5.

For those who wondered what the poster meant by the "Cox's 3 adult FM's", it is a referrence to AC WSB-FM, Classic Hits WSRV and Adult R&B WALR.

I wasn't referring to Lucy's best (character) friend Ethel, but the actual Ethel Merman. Yeah, Ethel Merman came to my head, not Ethel Mertz. Just because they were paired together in a TV show and in a sentence, doesn't mean Lucy and Ethel always have to refer to one show, but I do associate Merman with the same generation.

But, this also proves my point: I'm 31 and I do get "Lucy and Ethel" being associated with the Lucille Ball Show, but what does that have to do with Alternative music, a genre that started twenty to thirty years after the show ended? The Lucy and Ethel brand would be better associated with Adult Standards or Oldies music, since those were the generations that watched first-runs of the show.

Yeah that Kurt Cobain was a no-name before he died.

But you can't deny the Jim Croce "pop" he got upon his death. Same thing happened to Jimi, Janis, Jim Morrison, and countless others (except maybe Bon Scott and Karen Carpenter)--including-especially-Elvis.

Although Kurt was probably the first one to get the Jim Croce "pop" after offing himself.

KC deserved every bit of fame dead or not dead. he wouldve been big as elvis if he'd lived.
