Atlanta Radio Icon Pulling Up Stakes

Once again I scoop Rodney Ho and Roddy Freeman with this story.

I obtained an exclusive interview with Atlanta radio icon Christopher Colandro during the first mile of the Peachtree Road Race. Before you ask, he was dressed in his usual attire (Voiceover Vixen, September Day just vomited a little).

Colandro, the star of three successful Atlanta morning shows (The Regular Guys version 1.0, the Morning X and one day at DAVE-FM) told me that he will be leaving Atlanta for Philadelphia later in the month.

It is a sad day in the history of this city that Colandro will no longer be amongst our citizenry. Fear not, the move appears to be temporary, only through the end of 2010.

Those wishing to bid him adieu, should contact me after he leaves for a huge party.

I have no idea who this guy is......but my hat is off for beating Roddy and Rodney to a story.
.........just when the show is over......out jumps Neil doing the macarena.
GO NEIL..... GO NEIL..... GO NEIL

I saw the title of this thread and thought someone may have seen Vicky Locke working in a garden. Now that would be news. . .

"In the garden with Vicki Locke. Saturdays at 4 on WXIA channel 11. On the next show, Vicki shows you have to plant some swell petunias, and special guest Kelly McCoy shows you how to make the most out of garden season by spending fifty minutes in your garden every hour."

Don't bend over in the garden, Granny. Them taters got eyes.

Can Vicki garden with the clot and all?

Sad news to report. Apparently Christopher Colandro will NOT be leaving town. Whatever job opportunity he was in line for fell through. It's been a tough year for Philly. They lost the World Series to the Yankees, lost the Stanley Cup to the Blackhawks and now they won't have Colandro there eating cheese steaks while wearing a kilt. I sincerely wish him all the best.

On a personal note, thank you Comcast for the service of letting me save voicemails as a wav file. So if someone threatens me I can turn it over to the proper authorities.
