Atlanta Radio: The apple cart turnover

This has been a quite eventful past six months or so. It seems that those in the know have finally taken the much given advice that we offer for free on a daily basis here at Radio-Info!! Seriously though, there have been some remarkably big changes in what we are listening to these days. Some I've liked: Q100 to the big stick, the return of the Regular Guys to a pretty decent rock station, the Project evolving into a good rock station itself, a new country station pushing the other country stations to be better, new morning shows all over the place, etc. Heck, I'll even throw in Steve and Vicky's return later this summer. Everytime someone slipped there was someone there to immediately jump all over the void left behind. Some moves were made to preempt an anticipated move by the competition. It's been fun to watch (and listen to).
So, the $24,000.00 question is: are we a better market because of it?
 
Yes it has truly been eventful. Things have changed rapidly. As a listener, it's a lot to take in at once but it's great because it's not like everything's just the same. I do believe the market is getting better esp. with TRG back, Q at 100,000 watts, and the new morning show abound.... things are only going to get better.
 
Is Atlanta Radio better??? Yes and No... Atlanta Radio needed to be shaked up and there is some room left for improvement. We need one less Country station and 640 WGST needs something. Dave could tweak their playlist to include some of the hard alternative at night.
