Atlanta radio/tv guy in Tampa

I know this is a radio board- - but I grew up in Atlanta and Tampa (divorced parents) listening and watching Jeff Hullinger. He was the sports anchor for 20 yearsat WAGA TV and radio play by play guy for the Falcons as well as morning at 96 rock. I see where WTSP is sending him away as the weekend sports announcer. I never saw him on the air much. It's really strange, he must have had a meltdown or something. Why take a job where you aren't on the air and you get canned?

Jeff Hullinger - while a complex guy - is the most talented sports guy I have ever worked with. He - like many in the business - has made a few wrong turns now and then - but he should surface in a great place. This is a guy who knows how to stand up for his team and who understands the value and meaning of loyalty. I miss him.
