"Monti Carlo quit 99X’s new Morning X Thursday after just two and a half weeks but according to host Sean Demery, it was not because she was unhappy. She left for personal reasons that’s forcing her to move to Seattle, where she already has a job at a top 40 station. Monti, a standup comic who has had radio gigs in Florida, South Carolina and Z93, was the “younger” female voice on the show during her brief time there. Monti herself hasn’t returned a call for comment."

wonder where she's heading? maybe a partner on a new kbks morning show?
 
I don't see how they have any room on that show. Maybe KUBE finally hired a real sidekick for T-Man? Tari has always been a laugh track, and always changes her opinion to back up T-Man.

Unless they meant Movin, which could be Top 40 to an Alternative guy. We'll see when we see, I couldn't find a myspace page for her, or any mention of her stand up comedy. That can't be good for booking..
 
I doubt they'd change anything with either of those shows; if anything, I'd assume it would be Movin'. I didn't find anything about her either, must be pretty big on the stand up scene.

All Access is reporting on their website (October 23rd) that she is this close to joining KQMV, so it looks like you're on the money with this story.
