Atlanta's #1 Top 40 Station: Q100 & Star 94

Q100 started saying it first (Atlanta's most listened-to top 40 station), and Star 94 has responded (Arbitron's #1-rated top-40 station; thank you, Atlanta).

Of course, Star is really ahead in 12+. But Star can really do nothing but what they're doing about what Q is saying. After all, Q could say they don't consider Star a top 40 station or that Q is talking about 18-34. I like competition, and there's less of it these days.
 
It's great to have competition - makes both stations better and on their game. Star seems to be the chaser these days - copying Q on contests and postioning statements. The music also seems tweaked a bit as well.

Q is still winning the cool factor - with shows like S&V, Tripp, and C&R Star will still remain your soccer Mom station.

You should know that it's not most listened to at work that matters. It's who's voted #1 for the most music while you work. And B98.5 has been winning those elections for years now. They have the campaign process down pat.

Congratulations...we have an entire thread about something listeners don't care about. Beat your chests a little more, folks, while all our listeners find solice in things that cater to THEM. :-\
