The show should do well because WHUR already gets good ratings as is but Frank Ski has not been on the air in the DC/Baltimore area for a decade that's a long time. He has been a non factor up there in radio for years now. Congrats and good luck to him Washington,DC is the 7th largest radio market in the US its a great market to start syndication in.
What I'm not getting is WHUR is an Urban AC. It's been reported that Frank Ski's show is programmed for Urban/Urban Contemporary. I believe he has appeal to both audiences. I'm wondering if stations have a choice of music like On Air with Ryan Seacrest offers or at least used to offer.
How many markets have the need for (another) syndicate urban show? I really do not know but IMHO: Frank will have to have some ratings success at WHUR to make this work.
