Atlanta's New #1 For Hip-Hop: 955 The Beat

No longer "Atlanta's New #1 Hit Music Station" ... NOW it's "Atlanta's New #1 For Hip-Hop: 955 The Beat" -- have they been using this positioning for some time .... or did this just happen today? (ie ... how does the Q100 signal increase effect 955 The Beat)?

I'm wondering whether all rhythmic CHR's are moving to this positioning. B96 in Chicago is now saying hip-hop and rap straight out while still targeting white listeners. I guess hip-hop has become acceptable with mainstream audiences.

I'm sure everything will remain the same over at THE BEAT. However, HOT 107.9 still blaze more hip-hop than THE BEAT and V103.

B-96 sounds great these days! Even though they're very repetitive musically, they throw in some mixes almost every hour, and the jocks are top notch.
B plays a bit more then just Hip Hop - the new Madonna is in pretty heavy rotation, and they play a couple of Ricky Martin tracks.
