Atlanta's WSB dumps Savage for local show & Ramsey

I like "The Savage Nation", and listen regularly to an out-of-town station that occasionally fades in-and-out just to hear him. That said, I'm afraid that Michael Savage has lost a step over the past year. I boil it down to this...he's 68 years old, and is beginning to have difficulty keeping the energy of his high energy show up. A specific: Earlier in 2010, he went on one of his patented triades, really "laying the smack down" on something. The very next day, he mentioned how, for the first time, he had a physical reaction to his p.o'd tirade. A little pressure-feeling in his head stayed with him all night. He mentioned that he needs to "control himself", and that he wasn't going to do things to get sick on-the-job.
This has had the effect of taking some of the edge off of his show, even though - content wise - it remains the same. Then there were times in 2010 that he took more time off then one would expect, presumably for health reasons. I do know that some dental surgery was involved in one case, and in another, he got so sick while on-air, that after a commercial break, listeners were treated to old segments for the rest of the show.
