ATSC 3.0 in Atlanta

At this time, the only full-power Atlanta station that will begin broadcasting in ATSC 3.0 is WPCH/channel 17, effective August 19. (WTBS-LD/channel 26 began ATSC 3.0 on July 14). WPCH will retransmit the ATSC 1.0 signal of duopoly sister station WGCL/channel 46 on its subcarrier tier.

As it turns out, WPCH is the ATSC 3.0 lighthouse station in Atlanta. WSB, WAGA, WXIA and WGCL transmit their 3.0 signal on WPCH's subchannel tier while WPCH transmits its 1.0 signal on WGCL's sub tier (19.6 for HD and 19.7 for SD).
