Attn Engineers.... Can You Help A Brother Out?

I need to know if there is anyone out there that can help us with a serious problem. Overnight our main STL at WEKS FM went out... just crashed and burned. Not a huge problem... our engineer came in and switched us over to our backup. Then early this morning it started over heating and turning off! We have the air down to 60 and a fan blowing on it so it is not going off as much. But we are trying to find an analog composite unit that we can "borrow" until we can get the main unit back or this one working. If you have one or know of one we would owe you a huge one and be eternally greatful. If you can help please call me at 770-599-1923.

WE GOT ONE! I can't believe how many people were willing to help. Thank You Thank You Thank You! Anyone that thinks this board is just used for infighting and insults needs to know that we are a community that is willing to help out our brothers and sisters.
Thanks again

Joe, if you have had two STL transmitters overheat, you need to figure out what's going on before you swap them out. Is there not enough air circulating in the rack? Is it sandwiched between two big pieces of equipment that is also generating heat? I like putting STL transmitters at the top of racks and leaving one rack space below it to allow plenty of circulation.

Actually the first one didn't overheat it just stopped working. Our backup, which we had not used since moving into the new studio, started overheating and turning off every half hour or so. It was not even in the rack as Al had it sitting on top of the rack temporarily. We do have plenty of circulation in the rack room and none of the other equipment there seems to be getting hot. Just bad luck. We did borrow one and it is doing fine while the other two are on the way to be fixed.
thanks
Joe
